Cooperative Charting is an agreement and voluntary program between NOAA and the USPS to scan the water and land areas looking for changing conditions that could be reflected on NOS navigation charts. The efforts and activities of hundreds of USPS members make up a significant percentage of the nautical chart changes which result in more accurate charts for boaters.
The Lake Charles Power Squadron is proud to support these organizations with our local Co-Op Charting Program. Our members participate in various events which help maintain the charts of our local waterways. If you would like to help us and our community, please let us know!
