LCPS Octoberfest 2007
In 2000 the first Annual Octoberfest was held, celebrating the 2000 LCPS Commanders German herritage. IT was celebrated every year since, except during the 2 years following Hurricane Rita. This year's event was attended by more than 47 members and guests. There were lots of Lederhosen, Bavarian Hats and German Suspendersas well as real and unreal Dirndel Dresses. Needless to say there was also plenty of Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and Potato Salad. Of Course there would not have been an OCTOBERFEST without Kegs of beer and Gallons of Wine to quench the thirst from the Pretzel Man's Salt Pretzels
