Clean-Up after Ike
When hurricane Ike roared into Texas, it was so huge that it flooded Louisiana and Lake Charles as well. The water rose about 9 feet above normal and consequently flooded the lower part of the LCPS Anchorage. On September 20, 2008 a group of members took it upon themselves (prodded by our Commander Ben) to clean up the mess. By 1300 the job was done and celebrated with "FEMA" (free) beer, Sprite and Coke.
