Lakefront Development Ground Breaking
The Lake Charles Sail & Power Squadron boats and members were present for the ground breaking celebration for Lakefront Development. Our Chaplain, Lt. Brooks Fleig, gave the invocation at the event. Nine boats and a big group of members attended the events. The first phase of the project has begun. This phase will include the 52 slip Transient Marina which will be complete by March 2010. The LCSPS has been very involved with the project and look forward to future boating events with our friends and out of town guests at the Marina.
